A few hours ago, Harvey Weinstein was seen acting erratically in the streets of Los Angeles, California.
According to several members of the Los Angeles Police Department, who spoke to TMZ, the controversial movie maker was visiting his daughter, Remy Weinstein, when a violent argument broke out.
The 22-year-old quickly called the police because her father appeared to be suicidal.
The young woman told authorities that her father had a meltdown and yelled, “You’re making it worse,” before storming off the home.
Moments later, Mr. Weinstein was seen running after a random driver whom he begged for a ride to leave the area.
However, Miss Weinstein as able to convince her father to get back in the home.
By the time the police arrived, the disgraced movie mogul had left.
She told the cops that he was “suicidal and depressed” but did not expect him to harm himself.
Weinstein, who has been accused by more than 30 women of rape including Cara Delevingne, Angelina Jolie, and Lea Seydoux, has denied the allegations.
He said: “Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr. Weinstein.”
His spokesperson, Sallie Hofmeister, went on to say: “Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances. Mr. Weinstein obviously can’t speak to anonymous allegations, but concerning any women who have made allegations on the record, Mr. Weinstein believes that all of these relationships were consensual. Mr. Weinstein has begun counseling, has listened to the community and is pursuing a better path. Mr. Weinstein is hoping that, if he makes enough progress, he will be given a second chance.”
The latest reports claimed that the embattled movie producer has decided to deal with his issues by entering rehab Center in Arizona.
He was also spotted giving paparazzi the middle finger as he boarded a private jet at Van Nuys Airport bound for Arizona.
In related Harvey Weinstein news, his wife, Georgina Chapman, has decided to separate from him.
Chapman, the founder of the famous Marchesa fashion brand, said in a statement: “My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my priority and I, ask the media for privacy at this time.”
The couple, who have been married for ten years, are the parents of two children.
