Jennifer Lopez seems to have cracked the code on aging backward. Today is the beauty’s 49th birthday, in one year she’ll turn half a century old and most days she doesn’t look a day over 30. So what are the tricks and secrets she uses to get such a youthful presence, body and face? What really allows this superstar to have 5-6 different jobs and dabble in practically every facet of the entertainment industry, while still looking well rested and flawless?

In fact, stitched on a pillow found in her mansion in Los Angeles reads a statement “I am youthful and timeless at every age.”

Lopez knows that it sounds like a cliche but she also knows it’s worked for her.
“Age is all in your mind,” the actress, singer, and dancer recently admitted during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar.
Lopez is also a huge proponent of sleep. While many celebrities go and go so consistently that they neglect their sleep, Lopez has to get between 8 to 10 hours every night.
She also doesn’t smoke or drink. These two things can age the body, mind, and skin significantly if done on a consistent basis.
She lives a very clean lifestyle and loves to workout. Her 5 day-a-week workout sessions are completely mandatory and cannot be skipped. Even if she doesn’t feel like it some days, she does it anyway.
It’s clearly paying off because she’s aging doesn’t even seem to be impacting her appearance.
