Hank Baskett is holding out hope. Ever since splitting up with Kendra Wilkinson, Hank’s life has been a lot different, and he’s managing to hold it all together for the sake of the children he shares with the ex-Playboy model.
However, TMZ reporters got a chance to talk with Hank recently and he admitted there was hope he and Kendra would move past their differences to reconcile.
On the 13th of April, reporters asked Hank if there was a chance they would get back together, and he said, “you always leave the door open for that, always.” After all, they do have children together.
The reporter asked him if their reconciliation would be for their children or because of feelings shared, and Baskett responded, “I would say both.”
According to a report from The Blast, Hank and Kendra are trying to work it all out, and things are slowly ameliorating. As the world knows, Hank and Kendra split up officially on the 6th of April.
Happy Mother's Day to the woman that has blessed me with a lifetime of happiness and memories through watching her teach, play with and the way she loves our beautiful children!! @kendra_wilkinson_baskett has always told me she will forever be a kid and I love the way it shows when she's around our kids! There is nothing too silly or crazy that she is not willing to do with Lil Hank and Alijah and they love her for that. Thank you baby! We love, appreciate and thank you Mama!!!
Kendra filed the court documents on the same day that she and Hank posted the news of their breakup on Instagram. Within the post, Kendra referred to Hank as a “beautiful man.”
But on the 8th of April, Sunday, Hank, and Kendra got together for their children’s respective sports games. Hank, who’s the coach of their daughter’s soccer team, appeared to be in good spirits during the match.
An insider shared, “they’re really good at making everything seem like it’s going well. They both have the mask on.” Moreover, the source described their interaction as completely cordial, undoubtedly a front put on for the sake of their kids, who are still at an incredibly impressionable age.
