It looks like Hailey Baldwin’s career is of secondary importance to her nowadays because of a particular reason. The supermodel says she is ‘really choosy’ about the gigs she accepts in order to spend more time with her loved ones, including fiance Justin Bieber.
Hailey was in attendance at Carolina Herrera’s New York Fashion Week show yesterday and was in the front row!
While there, she was asked about something her uncle, Alec Baldwin previously said – that she and Justin need to spend a lot of time together rather than let work potentially split them apart.
‘I had not heard this yet, so you are actually the first telling me. But that sounds like sound, solid advice. He is just trying to look out for me. It is smart, and it is important. You have to always put your family above work, no matter what,’ she agreed.
She also revealed to the same outlet that ‘I’ve tried to be really choosy with fashion week just because I want to have time to spend being relaxed and with family — and my fiancé.’
Alec Baldwin previously shared with etalk at the TIFF that ‘People who get married young, I want them to spend time with each other. Obviously, he [Justin Bieber] in particular has this crazy superstar career.’
It is safe to say that his experience juggling both his personal and public lives for some years has helped him reach some conclusions that might be helpful to Hailey and Justin.
He went on to say that ‘When you are married… Like right now, I am quite a bit older than both of them, but I got married only a few years ago. And my wife and I had 4 kids in 4 and a half years. The thing is, all the work I do is based on my family. There are some movies I get offered where they say ‘Come leave town for five weeks.’
But ‘we cannot travel your family with you, we do not have that in the budget’. And I pass, because I do not want to be away from my family.’
Alec went on to make it very clear that if you want a successful marriage, you have to stay together!
It sounds like Hailey, despite not being aware of her uncle’s point of view beforehand, was already doing that!
