Gwyneth Paltrow has had quite the romantic history. Before she consciously uncoupled from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and married Glee co-creator Brad Falchuk, she dated Brad Pitt for more than two years. The two A-list actors broke up in the late 1990s, and Paltrow says she is thankful that she didn’t have to deal with the craziness of social media and the paparazzi.
“Cameron Diaz and I talk about this all the time. We’re like, ‘Thank God in the early ‘90s there were [so few] paparazzi. Thank God.’ We cry in gratitude that no one was following us around and seeing what we were doing,” Paltrow revealed in a recent interview with the WSJ. Magazine.

The GOOP founder explained that when she and Pitt broke up, the story was on the cover of the New York Post, but there was no one outside her house and that would never happen today.
Paltrow is now happily married to Falchuk, and she says that this time it feels very different. The 46-year-old confessed that things are “fantastic” because they are better equipped to choose a life partner halfway through life. But, as a rule, people pick their spouses earlier because of procreation.
Paltrow and Falchuk tied the knot on September 29th, and an insider said that the ceremony was “intimate and romantic.” The Iron Man star says that it was a process, but she feels lucky to have met an incredible person who is a true partner.
Falchuk has two kids from a previous marriage, and Paltrow admits that she has never been a stepmother before and doesn’t know what she is doing. They are blending their families one step at a time. Paltrow shares daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses, 12, with Martin.
Paltrow is enjoying each day and says that she is here one time and wants an incredible life.
The other Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy, is close to both Falchuk and Paltrow, and he threw the couple an engagement party back in April. He recently said that both of them are great, and if you knew them, you would root for their love story.
Murphy was also the person who introduced the newlyweds, so he has some ownership in the relationship, and he is proud of that. Falchuk and Gwyneth Paltrow met on the set of Glee in 2010 when she made a guest appearance as substitute teacher Holly Holliday. Not only did she meet the love of her life, but she also won an Emmy award for the role.
