Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are really a great couple, and we have said this before. Everyone was expecting her to be by his side at the CMT Awards this year, but it seems that she didn’t make it.
Gwen was at home yesterday while her country beau performed with his ex Miranda Lamber in the crowd. Gwen watched the whole show from home on TV.The Voice coach tuned
The Voice coach tuned in to the country music award show yesterday to watch him perform and she posted videos of her watching the show on her Instagram account.
She didn’t look very happy to be watching the show from home instead of being there with him. Gwen even pouted while singing along with him one time.
She watched the show with her dad and her sons, and she didn’t let the distance from her man keep her from cheering him on.
When he took the stage to serenade the audience which included his ex (who, according to a source, didn’t want Gwen to come) with his single Every Time I Hear That Song, she supported him as she posted the loveliest message on her Instagram account:
‘Watching this guy @blakeshelton #cmtawards gx’.
It looks like no matter what was the reason for which she didn’t go with him at the CMT Awards, and she missed his big night she was with him in spirit.
Blake also looked like he felt her love and this really helped him give an amazing performance.
One could almost say that he was trying to impress her more than anyone else even if she wasn’t there with him.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, she was asked if she is in love and she answered that she is and that she is happy.
‘Yeah, for sure. I don’t really want to go into that relationship, and God knows what’s going to happen. But I feel like I’m in an amazing songwriting place; instead of being closed off, I’m thinking about positivity and how I can do something creative. I’m just doing what I want to do. It’s so incredible to be in that zone. I’m always looking for the next song, and now I don’t have to be insecure or write about heartache.’
