According to a source who spoke with reporters over at Us Weekly, Gwen Stefani will have her own residency in Las Vegas just like other stars including Celine Dion, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga. The 48-year-old singer intends to perform repeatedly at Planet Hollywood.
The singer posted a photo on her Instagram on the 4th of March showing her alongside Jennifer Lopez at a concert in Las Vegas. Gwen wrote, “@Jlo, your Vegas show was so good!”
The source said, “Gwen went to the concert, and she was dancing at it the entire night. She looked like she genuinely enjoyed the concert. I didn’t see Blake Shelton there though.”
As it was previously reported, Planet Hollywood has been the host of several residencies including those of Lopez and Spears, while Celine has a spot in The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.
The notorious diva, Mariah Carey, might be heading back to the state of Nevada as well for concerts at The Venetian, and Lady Gaga begins her residency at the MGM Grand in December.
Stefani will be an incredibly popular show, considering her star power as both a singer and a reality TV judge. One person tweeted, “Wow, Gwen in Las Vegas is literally the perfect combination. She’ll fit in there 100%.”
As you may know, Vegas has become a hot location for stars to host concerts considering the high salaries, and artists no longer have to travel globally to perform.
In the past, Las Vegas was known for having entertainers perform who’s careers were “winding down,” so to speak, including legends such as Frank Sinatra, Prince, Elton John, Mariah Carey, and the 1980’s hair metal band, Motley Crue.
