Season 15 of Grey’s Anatomy begins in just one month, and fans should be ready for new episodes filled with hookups, romance, career achievements, and medical drama. Recently, star Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo on the popular ABC show, talked about what fans can expect this season and dished on the new “Ortho God” coming to Grey Sloan Memorial.
According to Us Weekly, Luddington says that the season begins with Jo and Alex (Justin Chambers) on their honeymoon, and during their trip, something inspires Jo to come up with a new medical innovation.
“She feels like the person she would love to pursue with because she loved doing things with her, is Meredith. So now she has to go back to Seattle and convince them to kind of do this with her,” Luddington explains.

The 34-year-old actress added that she hopes the honeymoon stage continues for Jo and Alex when they return to work because she loves that they are affectionate and playful with each other. Luddington says that the two characters will definitely “be navigating being newlyweds this season.”
She also admits that the vibe at the hospital this season is a sexy one because of the new “Ortho God,” played by Chris Carmack. Luddington says the new season is fun because all of the interns are back and that brings a lot of comedy to the show right away. Plus, the sexy men in the hospital bring the drama.
Luddington says that Carmack’s character is “super charming” and everyone falls madly in love with him.
The premiere episode for season 15 will be two hours long, and it will give fans a fast-paced update on the Grey Sloan staff, including some insight into the Owen-Teddy-Amelia love triangle and a possible new man in Meredith’s life.

At the end of season 14, we left the doctors after Jo and Alex had gotten married and were supposedly moving across the country for Jo’s new career opportunity, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and April (Sarah Drew) said goodbye, and Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) reconciled while Teddy (Kim Raver) revealed she was pregnant (and Owen is probably the father).
Not a lot was happening for Meredith, but she has always thrived when she is single. So, if a new love doesn’t happen, she will probably just win another Harper Avery award (or maybe now it will be the Catherine Fox award?).
Season 15 of Grey’s Anatomy premieres Thursday, September 27 on ABC.
