Grey’s Anatomy’s Giacomo Gianniotti is engaged! Fans were introduced to the television star just two years ago and unfortunately for his female fans, the actor is no longer single and ready to mingle.
Giacomo – the Italian-Canadian actor who plays Dr. Andrew DeLuca on the show – got on his knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Nichole, on Saturday over Thanksgiving weekend.
He wrote on Sunday, “she said yes,” alongside a photo of the pair kissing. Giacomo said he’s “one lucky guy,” and there isn’t anyone else in the world whom with he would walk down the aisle.
He repeated the same comments in his mother tongue for his Italian fans as well. His fiancée, Nicole – who is a makeup artist – shared the same picture where they’re embracing each other close.
She wrote on her account that “yesterday, my best friend asked me to marry him most romantically, a day reliving our love.” She added that they’re thrilled and can’t wait to start a family and embark on their journey. The soon-to-be-wife of Giacomo urged her fans to “pinch” her because she’s dreaming.
Additionally, the makeup artist shared a video on her Instagram stories. Giacomo has established himself as a television-heartthrob ever since his role on the legendary series began. The actor is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and was born in Rome Italy.
In former interviews, Giacomo talked about the struggle of his family to make a living after moving to Toronto. Despite their tribulations, he managed to go to the Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts in T.O as well as Humber College’s Theatre Program.
