The 75th Golden Globes will air on NBC January 7, 2018, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) used a unique method for releasing the full list of presenters who will appear during the event. In a Twitter thread, the HFPA announced the presenters by sharing photos of the presenters. Unlike the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) the Golden Globes will feature male and female presenters. The SAG awards will use only women in response to the sexual abuse allegations that have swept Hollywood over the past year.
Response to the Golden Globes official thread has been positive, unlike the reaction the public has for the SAG awards. Some people do not agree with the decision to exclude male actors from participating as presenters. If anything, some of the comments indicate the only problem the public has with the list of Golden Globes presenters is some of their favorite celebrities weren’t included.
Twitter has instituted a new feature that is slowly being rolled out called Twitter threads. With a thread, the person who creates a post has the option of connecting additional posts as replies to the original. The posts are then linked together by a vertical line.
Those who want to see the full and complete list of presenters for the 2018 Golden Globes can follow the thread below as the list will be updated until it’s complete.

Some of the presenters announced in the thread include Alicia Vikander, Darren Criss, Shirley MacLaine, Hugh Grant, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Penelope Cruz, Halle Berry, Kelly Clarkson, Gal Gadot, Sharon Stone, Seth Rogen, Kerry Washington, Amy Poehler, Isabelle Huppert, Christina Hendricks and Ricky Martin.
Fans following the thread did ask for certain celebrities to be included as presenters. Popular choices included Jennifer Larence, Chris Pine, stars of the Fifty Shades trilogy Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, Bradley Cooper, Jared Leto, and Johnny Depp.
