Recently, George Michael’s cousin has requested Fadi Fawaz to come clean about how the artist died.
According to Andros Georgiou the late singer’s boyfriend is hiding a lot of details that might help solve the mystery of his death.
The cousin said that the entire family is tormented by the fact that they do not know what happened exactly and by all the wild guesses in the media – one of them being that he committed suicide.
Furthermore, the family member admits that Michael was using drugs and had been in a dark place before dying.
Andros posted a screen cap of one of Fawaz’s tweets on Facebook, saying: “I’ve been trying to hold back on this tweet I saw 10 days ago.”
“But the more I am reading and the more I’m finding out about Fadi I just can’t keep my mouth shut any longer.”
“No 1 he was never with Yog [George’s nickname] 24 hours a day they never lived together he lived in one of Yog’s houses in Regents Park?”
“And even if they were, WHY were they not together on Christmas Eve? and WHY did he sleep in the car? Too many questions have come up.”
In a recent interview for BBC, the cousin addressed Michael’s alleged drug problems as well.
“I read that he’d done heroin for the last four or five months of his life.”
“That is absolute rubbish. That is the one drug he would never ever touch.”
“Hard drugs had been back in his life but it wasn’t heroin. It was cocaine. Crack was one of his favourite drugs.”
George Michael and his cousin Andros had been really close ever since childhood. The former producer even toured with the artist when he was at the peak of his success. However, in 1998 the two had a fall-out.
In 2012, Andros reached out to George saying: “The last thing I want is one of us standing over the other’s grave, wishing he had mended the nonsense that destroyed us.”
About the cause of death, Andros chose to say: “One thing is for sure, this was not suicide. He should of been looked after by his so-called friends.”
“If I was around this would never of happened and I have to live with that.”
“I am so sad as I am sure you all are as well, I have to pray the police come to the conclusion I have and justice will be served.”
“The whole family is incredibly upset and every day there are more and more stories that are completely untrue.”
“I believe he obviously had suicidal thoughts over the last few years as his mental health wasn’t in the best place.”
“But I don’t believe it was suicide in a million years. I can’t really say what I know.
“He was a recluse for four years, in rehab for nearly three years. I believe he was dragged back in to the dark side.”
“I want to get to the truth of what happened, exactly what was in his blood at the time, who gave it to him, why did he have it again.”
There is no proof that Fadi Fawaz has done anything wrong but he is yet to respond to Andros’ comments.
