According to Carlos Arturo Ortiz, George Michael was deeply unhappy prior to his untimely passing at the age of 53.
The star’s former lover stated that he hated Christmas and had unhealthy eating habits like abusing chocolate and carbonated drinks – especially Coca-Cola. Furthermore, Ortiz also claimed that Michael was addicted to antidepressants.
Ortiz said that before passing away, the legend was trying to get rid of his medication addiction.
“It seems very coincidental to me that he was found dead on Christmas Day because he told me he hated Christmas as there were never any children around…”
“He told me he was addicted to anti-depressant medicine and trying to wean himself off it and confessed he was unhappy.”
Furthermore, Ortiz added that the singer was not only addicted to antidepressants but was also drinking alcohol, mainly Champagne and used to binge on chocolate and fizzy drinks during his darkest times.
“All he drank apart from the Champagne was Coca-Cola which he told me he downed by the gallon and was addicted to along with chocolate.”
Three weeks after Michael’s body was found by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz in his home in London, the officials are yet to disclose the cause of death.
According to new information, the Police are currently investigating more about the cars seen parked around the propriety on the night of his passing, suggesting that the suspicion of foul play is not entirely out of question.
Although sources have claimed the singer was becoming a loner and used to isolate himself in his home most of the time, in the days prior to his death he had a big number of visitors.
A source stated: “Officers are stepping up the investigation into the days leading up to George’s death and focusing on those who came and went to see George.”
“They may have vital information which could be of use.
“There are still vehicles that were near the property which police are trying to trace the owners of.”
