Even though Fadi Fawaz’s tweets about Geroge Michael wanting to die were dismissed as being untruthful and posted by a hacker, it looks like there might have been some truth there.
George Michael had admitted before that he went into a “black hole of depression” after his mum was diagnosed with cancer.
The singer thought he was a “coward” for wanting to take the “nasty way out” when his mother died a year later in 1997
He may have never really recovered from the pain of losing both his mother, Lesley, and boyfriend Anselmo Feleppa from Aids complications in 1993.
“After mum’s death in 1997, I think I might have been one of those cowards who chose a nasty way out,” confessed Michael in 2004.
Losing his lover at the time was also the start of a downward spiral of alcohol and drug abuse.
There were rumors that the legend was addicted to heroin for the longest time.
According to Michael, meeting the “love of his life” Kenny Goss in 1996 was what kept him alive for so long.
However, the two broke up and Michael was dating Fadi Fawaz, who was also the one person that found him dead in his bed on Christmas day.
Now, reports say that because of the amount of coverage Fawaz has been getting ever since his lover passed away, he is ready for a career in showbiz.
“Fadi wants fame and has seen the amount of coverage he’s had over recent days.”
“This week he has been asking a number of high profile showbiz companies and managers to look after his future career.”
His decision comes not too long after the pop star’s manager confirmed his cause of death as being heart failure.
South Central Ambulance Service stated: “Sadly, a 53-year-old man was confirmed deceased at the scene.” It was later revealed that the man was Geroge Michael.
“At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.”
“A post-mortem will be undertaken in due course.”
