According to reports, George Lopez got into a fight with a “fan” who supposedly was “harassing” him by stating his political views while at a Hooters in New Mexico. George was in Las Cruces on Sunday filming his latest movie, Walking With Herb, when a man with allegedly malicious intentions approached him.
Fox News claims the man George accosted was yelling “Make America Great Again,” and bellowing other political statements. TMZ obtained the video showing a twenty-something appearing to wait inside the Hooters when George walks up to him. However, despite other media reports, it looks like the man didn’t make any political comments.
“Here comes my boy, George,” the man said. Lopez immediately became physical, grabbing him by the back of the neck, and even slapping the phone out of his hand.

When a representative reached out to George to speak with him, he denied the request for comment.
As it was previously reported, the comedian has been more than outspoken in his dislike for the president and all those who work in his administration. In one new video, George pretended to urinate on Trump’s Hollywood Walk Of Fame star.
Additionally, at a charity event last year, Lopez allegedly was booed off stage for continually joking about the president. Lopez is just one of many who have performed similar antics.
One 24-year-old man smashed Trump’s star on the Walk Of Fame with a pick-ax and was later taken into police custody. Following his release, the assailant told reporters that he was fed up with Trump’s policies and rhetoric.
Later on, representatives on the council overseeing the Hollywood Walk Of Fame announced that they considered removing it. Mark Hamill, the star of Star Wars, claimed it wouldn’t be a bad idea to replace him with Carrie Fisher.
