A rep of the former president has released a statement defending his ‘inappropriate’ actions. George H.W. Bush has just been accused by another actress of sexually assaulting her.
The 93-year-old apologized to 34-year-old Lind for groping her butt during a photo shoot.
Bush explained that the action was his ‘attempt at humor’ and then proceeded to apologize.
However, now, another victim has come forward, saying the former American President did the same to her.
Jordana Grolnick revealed that it happened back in 2016 during a photo session as well.
As she stood beside Bush, posing in front of the flashing cameras, he allegedly groped her behind.
‘He reached his right hand around to my butt, and as we smiled for the photo he asked the group, ‘Do you wanna know who my favorite magician is?’ As I felt his hand dig into my flesh, he said, ‘David Cop-a-Feel!’’ Grolnick recalled.
The other girls laughed uncomfortably while his wife told him he’s going to get himself in jail someday.
Now, a rep released a second statement explaining the situation: ‘President Bush has been confined to a wheelchair for roughly five years, so his arm falls on the lower waist of people with whom he takes pictures. To try to put people at ease, the president always tells the same joke — and on occasion, he has patted women’s rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner. Some have seen it as innocent; others clearly view it as inappropriate. To anyone he’s offended, President Bush apologizes most sincerely.’
