It is every fans dream to go to a season premiere of Game of Thrones and meet the cast and crew of HBO’s hit fantasy drama. That dream is about to come true for one lucky fan. Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau just announced that he will accompany one fan to the Season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones for the lowly price of $10.
Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on Game of Thrones, announced the prize in a hilarious new video. The actor did not give away any spoilers about the final season, but he did promise that the winning fan will get to meet all of the show’s stars, including Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke. The fan will also get to walk the red carpet with Coster-Waldau, which would definitely be something to remember.
According to Entertainment Weekly, fans need to donate $10 to the Movember Foundation to be considered for the prize. Fans can donate their money and enter the raffle on Omaze.com/Nikolaj. The Movember Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes men’s health.
In addition to the exciting announcement, Coster-Waldau stirred up a lot of speculation following the recent Emmy Awards. The actor and his co-star, Peter Dinklage, were in the running for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, which Dinklage won.
After the win, Coster-Waldau shared a picture of what he says is a tattoo he got of Dinklage’s face. We have not confirmed that the tattoo belongs to Coster-Waldau, but Dinklage had some kind things to say about his on-screen brother after the fact.
“Thank you to my brother from another mother Nikolaj Coster-Waldau,” Dinklage wrote, adding that Coster-Waldau is “an amazing, handsome brother.”
HBO has not announced an official premiere date for the final season of Game of Thrones, but the show is expected to return sometime in 2019.
