Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) has survived the violent world of Game of Thrones for the past seven seasons, but her run will likely be over as the HBO series enters its final season. Many fans suspect Cersei’s brother, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), will be the one who takes her down, and a new theory backs this up – but with a slight twist.
According to Express, a fan theory argues that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) will steal Jaime’s face and kill Cersei while pretending to be her brother/lover.

This is similar to what Arya did to Walder Frey (David Bradley) last season, so it is not completely out of the realm of possibility.
There’s also the fact that Cersei is on Arya’s list of people she wants to kill. That list has gotten shorter over the past few seasons, and Arya would love to be the one who finishes Cersei’s reign in King’s Landing.
Using Jaime’s face would be a great way to get close to Cersei and past her massive bodyguard, The Mountain. It would also be a clever way to have Cersei think Jaime is the one who killed her without having him actually do the deed.
That said, Arya would have to kill Jaime in order to get his face. She could either do this herself or have Jaime killed in the fight against the White Walkers.
Either way, getting Jaime’s face will not be an easy task, though we are pretty sure Arya is up for the challenge.

Of course, there is also the possibility that Cersei lives at the end of the series and rules Westeros after everyone else has died. In fact, some fan theories argue that Cersei will outlast everyone, even Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
With so little information to go by, it is anyone’s guess who will be left standing at the end of Season 8.
Game of Thrones is scheduled to return to HBO this April.
