Earlier this week, former Teen Mom OG star Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie Standifer welcomed their first child together — a son they named Jagger — but the 30-year-old missed the birth because he is going through his second stint in rehab. However, according to a new report, Edwards might be home sooner than expected so he can see his new baby boy.
Doctors induced Standifer on October 8th, and then she gave birth around 12:00 am on October 9th. Jagger weighed in at seven pounds and one ounce, and Edwards’ parents, Jen and Larry, and Standifer’s parents, Terran and Bobby, were all at the hospital for their grandson’s arrival. Edwards also has a 9-year-old son, Bentley, with ex, Maci Bookout. And, Standifer has a son, Hudson, from a previous relationship.
An inside source claims that Edwards went to rehab about a month ago, and he is supposed to finish treatment for his substance abuse issues in February or March. But, it is possible that he will check out early, and he could be home for Thanksgiving. The source added that fans might have to wait until Edwards gets home before we see photos of Jagger.
“She wants photos out there, but she wants to wait for Ryan to get home. She’s probably going to wait for Ryan to come home to release any photos,” claims the source.
When Edwards went through his first stint in rehab in the summer of 2017 — after MTV cameras caught him slurring his words and nodding off while driving — he left early. Instead of completing thirty days, Edwards checked out on day twenty-one.
According to Radar Online, Standifer moved out of their lake house when Edwards went to rehab, and she is currently living with her parents.
Edwards has been in a lot of legal trouble lately. Police arrested him in Red Bank, Tennessee, back in July, and then released him a week later after the courts dismissed a charge of simple possession with heroin-petition to revoke.
However, there was a second heroin possession charge — petition to revoke, and a judge gave him a suspended sentence of 11 months and 29 days.

Police also arrested Edwards back in March for violating the terms of his probation after failing a drug test.
MTV fired Edwards and Standifer from Teen Mom OG earlier this year; however, the couple claims they quit the show. Standifer says that MTV did not want to show Edwards as a recovering addict. But, she claims that they did want to enter into a contract with Jager and have him film with Ryan Edwards’ parents to make it look like they weren’t raising their new baby.
New episodes of Teen Mom OG air Monday nights on MTV.
