During this past season of Southern Charm, Kathryn Dennis got her life back on track, and everyone from her co-stars to her fans was rooting for her. She even got support from an unlikely source — Southern Charm alum Landon Clements.
Earlier this week, Clements shared a Forbes article on Twitter that discussed Dennis’ inspiring inner strength during season five of Southern Charm, and she added the comment, “It’s been a long road KD. Happy for your happiness.”
According to The Daily Dish, this is a pretty big deal since Dennis and Clements haven’t always been on good terms. But, Clements says that she has moved on, and we should all look to a bright future because “the past is the past.”

Patricia Altschul, Danni Baird, and Cameran Eubanks have also praised Dennis, and her fans are sending her lots of love, as well.
“Now I’m getting a lot more feedback from moms who I guess have been in similar situations, single moms, and they reach out, and they just say what an inspiration I am, which is kind of odd to hear, especially given how I started on Season 1,” said Dennis.
She added that people have watched her grow and now they see the person she really is, as opposed to the naive 21-year-old who fell for Thomas Ravenel. Dennis says she is “not just a little redhead” who everyone can beat up on. Instead, she has conquered her demons, and people respect that.
As for Clements, she now lives full-time in California, and she works in real estate. She is also spending more time being a stepmom to her ex-husband’s daughter, Lola. In the past, Clements has made it clear that even though her marriage to James Maby didn’t work out, that didn’t mean she couldn’t continue to have a relationship with his teenage daughter. She says, “You don’t divorce children.”
Lola is Maby’s daughter from his marriage to Stacey Dash, who starred as Dionne in the 1995 hit movie Clueless.

Clements admits that co-parenting with an ex is hard to deal with, but you have to be there for the kids.
Before she was on Southern Charm, Clements lived in Los Angeles and was married to Maby. But after four seasons on the show that is shot in Charleston, South Carolina, she decided to return to the West Coast. She explains that she enjoys working in real estate, and she wanted to get back into it because she wants to take things to the next level. However, she needed to be around people who believe in her. And, even though making the show was fun, she was ready to do other things.
As for the claims this past season that Clements once worked as an escort — and Ashley Jacobs met Thomas Ravenel through her — Clements said on Instagram that she has had a job since she was fifteen, and she doesn’t need to be an escort.
New episodes of Southern Charm will air later this year on Bravo.
