It sounds like Gretchen and her fiancé Slade Smiley are planning to have a baby. The former star of The Real Housewives of Orange County announced that she is seriously thinking of undergoing IVF.
‘God willing, I can get pregnant in 2018!’ the reality TV celeb revealed during an interview.
As fans may remember, Gretchen first joined the show with her partner at the time, a wealthy, older man who later on passed away.
While on the Real Housewives she and co-star Smiley fell in love and got engaged.
If successful, this would be Rossi’s very first baby while Smiley is the father of two boys from a previous relationship.
Rossi admitted that she and Smiley have really been struggling to have a child for a long time.
‘It’s no secret we tried IVF in the past and Slade also had his vasectomy reversed, but we are going to try again to see if we can get pregnant. We have had some good feedback from our doctors about our bodies. I know Slade, and I would make good parents because we both love kids and I feel like I’m a great mom to our three dogs, so, let’s give it a shot,’ the woman stated during the interview.
Back in 2016, Rossi opened up about Smiley’s vasectomy reversal during an episode of The Doctors, saying that ‘Everything that could have gone right with the procedure did!’
Now that she is taking all of the right steps to become a mother, it seems like her struggle would also make for a pretty interesting storyline on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
In fact, insiders have revealed before that she is currently in negotiations with the network to return to the show.
Would you like to see her back or not?
