The accusations against R. Kelly are still mounting, and it appears as if it’s only going to get worse as a new woman came out of the woodwork to accuse the singer of abuse. A former radio host from Dallas, DJ Kitti Jones, claimed in a feature from Rolling Stone that her relationship with the singer had tenuous moments.
Jones stated that she met the R & B legend at a work event in 2011 and their relationship slowly began to turn into something romantic.
Eventually, Kitti moved in with him in Chicago, and according to the former host, he became abusive in several ways including psychologically, physically, and verbally.
Thanks @rollingstone You allowed me to put it EXACTLY how it happened! I chose to do this with REAL JOURNALISM not a gossip blog who doesn't take these kind of issues seriously from BLACK WOMEN and will post it for fun and wait for despicable and low class people to comment on everything but the truth. Anyone with at least 15 -20 minutes today please read the ENTIRE ARTICLE before passing judgement it's long and detailed, keep in mind I have moved on it's been exactly 4 yrs and if you read the ENTIRE article you will understand why I am talking now and why I waited so long! — Kitti Jones ❤️❤️❤️??
Additionally, the host claimed he “abused other girlfriends” and forced them all to perform “sex acts” on him and withheld their phones and food as well.
As Celebrity Insider readers know, BuzzFeed published an exposé detailing alleged abuse levied from the singer.
One of the women’s’ parents claimed that R. Kelly was “holding her hostage,” despite the fact that the woman in question released a video – obtained by TMZ – where she stated that she was there of her own volition.
However, Jones claimed that Kelly forced her to wear sweatpants in public and she wasn’t allowed to go to the bathroom without his permission. Representatives of the singer came out to unequivocally deny all of the accusations outright.
In their statement, they said it was “unfortunate” that Ms. Jones is attempting to portray their relationship together as something other than a consensual interaction.
The declaration continued by stating “any kind or of mistreatment of any woman by him is false, ill-motived and defamatory.” According to his representatives, R. Kelly does not control the actions of other individuals, as each woman is capable of her own agency.
