Another person came out of the woodwork to accuse Mr. Kevin Spacey of assault. His former masseuse is taking Spacey to court for sexual battery and false imprisonment due to an incident occurring in 2016.
Kevin’s downturn began last year at the start of the #MeToo movement, shortly after the allegations against Harvey Weinstein were published in the New York Times and The New Yorker.
Following the scandal, Ridley Scott cut out Kevin’s scenes in his film, All The Money In The World, and re-shot all of his parts with the actor, Christopher Plummer.
As a result of the accusations, Netflix fired him from their acclaimed series, House Of Cards. In a report obtained by Deadline, the complainant accuses Spacey of assaulting and battering him by forcibly touching his “scrotum, testicles, penis, and grabbing plaintiff’s shoulders.” Kevin also tried to kiss him.
Reportedly, the incident occurred in Malibu, California, approximately two years ago. Moreover, the man repeatedly asked Kevin if he could leave, but the actor allegedly blocked the door “with his naked body” so he couldn’t exit the room.
The lawsuit claims Kevin’s behavior was “extreme and egregious,” and acted with “reckless disregard” for the plaintiff’s rights and feelings.
As a result of the actor’s behavior, the lawsuit states, the complainant suffers from emotional distress and mental anguish. As it was previously reported, this is just one of many accusations to come out against the acclaimed actor.
Last year, Anthony Rapp, the Star Trek alum, accused Kevin of attempting to seduce him when he was a 14-year-old boy, and Kevin was 26-years-old. They worked on a play together at that time.
Other co-workers on the set of House Of Cards had similar claims involving Spacey, accusing him of over-touching and bullying subordinates. Guy Pearce, who co-starred with the Oscar winner in the film, LA Confidential, said in an interview over this summer that Kevin was a “handsy” guy, but later clarified his comments, adding that the American Beauty alum never caused harm.
