Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines announced on Instagram last month that they were expecting baby number five with a hilarious and sweet pregnancy reveal photo that was true to form for the HGTV stars.
The pic featured Joanna gently rubbing her husband’s belly just like someone would rub a pregnant woman’s stomach. Since then, fans have been waiting for a glimpse of Joanna’s baby bump, and thanks to Grace-Marie photography, the wait is finally over.
The photographer, based in Waco, Texas, got the chance to snap some pics while the couple filmed outside of their new restaurant, Magnolia Table.
Grace-Marie then shared the photos on her Instagram page, and even though the 39-year-old was wearing a loose-fitting gray hoodie, a tiny baby bump did manage to peek out.
The couple looks as happy as ever during the candid shots and just as joyful as they must have been when they posted an ultrasound video shortly after their baby announcement.
No one knows if they are having a boy or a girl, and the couple has yet to reveal a list of possible names, but fans are looking forward to more baby bump images in the future, plus pics of the little bundle of joy once he or she arrives.
The couple is already parents to four – Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7 – and the kids often make appearances on their hit home renovation show.
Drake has stolen the show before during a local baseball game, Duke won viewers over during a fun shopping trip with his dad, and in the most recent episode, Emmie had her turn in the spotlight.
When Joanna left to do some design work with clients, Chip and Emmie snuck away for an afternoon to shoot some hoops.
The father-daughter duo practiced together on the newly-paved court for the new homeowners, and when Emmie made a basket, the two high-fived before calling it quits.
But, of course, Joanna found out about their break, and she quickly told Chip to get back to work.
“I feel like I was pretty much done,” Chip reasons to his wife. “Jo said to finish the fountain, so I finished the fountain.”
Spending time with their growing family is one of the reasons the couple decided to call it quits on their popular reality show after its fifth season. Joanna said that they are ready for a break and to take some time to step back and let everything soak in.
She added that regardless of what the future holds, they are hopeful for what God has planned for their family. Catch Chip and Joanna Gaines on the final season of Fixer Upper Tuesday nights on HGTV.
