A little more than a week after porn star Stormy Daniels’ revealing 60 Minutes interview, Melania Trump is reportedly not happy with her husband, and a source says that the First Lady is at her “breaking point.” And, it’s not just Daniels’ speaking out about her one-time affair with President Donald Trump. Instead, it is the constant string of disgraceful stories that are leaving Melania completely humiliated. Could all of these marital woes lead to the first-ever Presidential divorce while in office?
FLOTUS is a “very strong woman,” but according to In Touch, having the media scrutinize her marriage and put it under a microscope has been a “mortifying” experience for the former model.
No one knows if the 47-year-old watched the Daniels’ interview, and when asked about it, her spokesperson says the First Lady is focusing on motherhood. She arrived in Florida two days before the interview aired, and remained there with her son Barron instead of returning to Washington DC with the President.
“Melania has always had one cardinal rule: Don’t embarrass me. Even before he became president it’s been one humiliating story after another,” claims an insider.
The source went on to say that the Slovenia native is furious about the alleged reports that keep surfacing about her husband’s behavior, and she is especially worried about how they affect her 12-year-old son.
However, even with all these problems, Federico Pignatelli – owner of NYC’s Pier59 Studios and Trump family friend – says that divorce is not an option for the First Couple. He says that even though Melania is upset with her husband right now, some of her negative feelings come from how the media has negatively portrayed the President with false accusations, and she could actually stand by him through it all.
Pignatelli added that Melania doesn’t want to give any credibility to the people attacking her husband’s reputation.
In their first appearance since the Daniels’ interview, the Trumps faced the public together, hand-in-hand, over Easter weekend as they walked to the Bethesda-By-The-Sea Episcopal Church in Palm Beach, Florida.
The President’s daughter Tiffany joined them for the service after flying into town a couple of days beforehand.
Mr. Trump praised his wife when he addressed the crowd gathered for the annual White House Easter Egg Roll and credited her for keeping things in “tippy-top” shape.
He said that Melania did an “incredible job,” and thanked her for working hard on the event. After his remarks on the South Lawn, the Trumps presided over the activities, and Donald Jr., Eric, Barron, and Tiffany all showed up for the holiday fun.
Melania Trump has not commented on the rumors surrounding her marriage.
