Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham has revealed that her daughter, Sophia, will no longer be part of the popular MTV franchise. Just a few short weeks after her fake firing, Abraham has decided that the reality show is no longer a good fit for her 7-year-old. So, what will the future look like for the little girl who has been part of the cast since birth?
Abraham told In Touch Weekly that Sophia will hopefully move on to something she loves.
“I will say Sophia is not going to continue to be on Teen Mom. Sophia is not going to continue to talk about sex and unplanned pregnancies and all that stuff — so she’ll go on to do something better and hopefully she’ll be doing makeup brands or clothing.”
The 26-year-old says that Sophia is already into fashion and she wants her daughter to live her own life and focus on her own goals. The mother and daughter duo just celebrated the opening of Sophia’s boutique Sophia Laurent, so the young reality star already has big plans for her life away from the TV cameras.
Farrah Abraham’s dad, Michael, told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that he thinks this is a good decision and believes Abraham is a great mom who is protecting her daughter.
But according to Teen Mom Talk Now, a lot of fans aren’t supportive of Abraham’s decision, because they believe there is more to it. Some even sounded off on Reddit, accusing Abraham of projecting onto her daughter and calling Sophia her pawn. Some fans claim that instead of making an intelligent decision about anything, she is forcing her daughter to make adult choices.
Farrah Abraham has been in a feud with MTV for the past couple of months after the network claimed to have fired her for appearing in adult films and being involved with adult promotions and activities. It turned out that the firing was fake, and she will appear in future episodes of Teen Mom OG.

She did call the prank a “hate crime” from the mind of the show’s producer Morgan J. Freeman, who she called “press hungry” and a “woman hater,” and she laughed at the fact that the show is up for a Critic’s Choice Award. She doesn’t think it has a chance to win because the network manipulates the show and it is to the point that it is almost scripted.
With all the drama between Abraham and MTV, it makes sense that she would want to keep her daughter out of it, just like fellow cast member Maci Bookout. Ironically, she took her son, Bentley, off the show because she didn’t want him filming with someone who made adult movies.
