Despite the demise of Farrah Abraham’s relationship with the network, MTV, she’s still using that reality-tv-money to make expensive trips to the shopping mall. The 26-year-old Teen Mom star shared a photo on Instagram recently of a brand new pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers.
The star bought the shoes in celebration after her “win” in the court case against Viacom, the owner of MTV. Reportedly, the shoes are worth close to $1100, $1090 to be exact.
As you may know, Abraham was suing Viacom for discrimination after she lost her job because of the porn tape she made with James Deen when she was 21-years-old.
Farrah stated her firing was a result of gender stereotypes, ones which she willfully chose to ignore. The Teen Mom star explained her choice to enter the adult film business as an experiment in sensuality, and learning more about herself as a woman.
According to court documents released by The Blast, Abraham’s attorney filed the papers for a voluntary dismissal of the suit, which means she must’ve received a satisfactory payout.
The papers stated that Abraham and her attorney felt both parties came to a resolution which they were both happy with, and the dismissal “was filed without prejudice.”
In an interview with People Magazine, Abraham said she was “thrilled with the outcome,” and is glad she did the right thing. Abraham admitted if she weren’t to do so, she would’ve regretted the decision for the rest of her life.
Previously, in a statement to People Magazine, a spokesperson for Viacom said that they encouraged Farrah to participate in any ventures she wished, and her claims were “without merit.” Farrah sued for “emotional suffering, emotional pain, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, and other damages.”
