It seems like the legend’s boyfriend is still mourning his passing! Fadi Fawaz opened up about how difficult it has been for him to cope with George Michael’s death, especially with the way he has been treated.
The photographer, who was also the one to find his lover dead in his own bed on Christmas day in 2016 took to social media to share with his followers a lengthy letter that was also quite bizarre.
‘Since I saw you last time a lot has happened. Xmas Day I went to wake you up to take you to lunch in Highgate, but you were dead (Can you flicking believe that?) From that first moment the world rose from death and pointed fingers at me … I was all alone … they accused me that I had something to do with your death,’ Fadi started his message.
‘They stopped all the support I got from your team. I even got denied access to our home in Goring where they packed my clothes and sent them in bin bags,’ he went on, remembering the horrible aftermath of George Michael’s death.
Fadi was indeed questioned by the police after the untimely death of the star, and according to him, his family also transformed into ‘savages’ who attempted to make his life as ‘difficult as possible‘.
In his words, they were ‘puppies that turned into deadly creatures.’
As a result, according to the photographer, he had his most basic human needs denied.
‘The person you made your number one is now the worst person in the world,’ he added in his letter to George.
Fawaz also claimed bailiffs attempted to take some of the singer’s possessions from him as he couldn’t pay a debt.
