Former Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines is expecting baby number five, and she is dishing on her pregnancy cravings as she enters her third trimester. And, it turns out the reality star is quite relatable. The 40-year-old recently revealed that she loves Fruity Pebbles with milk, Fruity Pebble crispy rice treats, or “any kind of cereal with too much sugar.”
“I even [once] went to four different fast-food places to get four of my favorite things. Fries from one place, chicken tenders from another, soft drink from another place because I love their ice and custard from another. I have no regrets. It was a good night,” Gaines revealed during a new interview.
This isn’t the first time the reality star has opened up about her pregnancy cravings. Earlier this year, she wrote on Instagram that she woke up at 2:30 in the morning craving fruity pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing. But, she didn’t have any of those things, so she made some cookies.
Gaines and her husband Chip are already the parents of four kids – Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 7. They announced in January that they were expecting another baby boy, and the couple is reportedly happier than ever.
Jimmy Don Holmes, a close friend of the Gaines’, recently told Closer Weekly that the two are great parents because Chip’s dad was a good dad, and that primed him to be a super-dad. He added that Joanna’s dad is one of the most amazing guys in the world, so Chip has a lot of guidance. But, he is a natural and loves to get out and play with his kids.
As for Joanna, Holmes said that she is kind and will sit down and talk to the kids for 40 minutes, even if she doesn’t really have the time.
In addition to spending time with their kids and running their businesses, Chip has been busy preparing for his first marathon. Joanna recently shared a photo on Instagram of Chip getting ready for the Silo District Marathon in Waco, Texas.
In addition to this being his first marathon, he and Joanna are hosting the event to raise money for the Brave Like Gabe Foundation that funds research for rare cancers and their treatment.
Joanna said that Chip decided to run and host a marathon while writing his book Capital Gaines. It started out as a lofty goal, but then he ran into Gabe Grunewald (a professional runner and cancer survivor), and he inspired Chip to take the goal of running a marathon and turn it into something bigger.
This past weekend, 6,000 runners from all 50 states and seven countries participated in the Silo District Marathon, and all profits went to Brave Like Grabe.
On Instagram, Joanna Gaines wrote that she couldn’t be prouder of her husband, and she was thankful for his big heart and big vision.
