In the movie The Girl On the Train, Emily Blunt plays the role of a downtrodden divorcee Rachel Watson. However, at the world premiere of the film, she looked totally different than the character she is interpreting. At the event, which took place in Leicester Square on Tuesday night, Emily Blunt looked fabulous.
At her age of 33, the actress from The Devil Wears Prada attracted all the attention with her floral gown that perfectly underlined her waist. The pillar base that swept the floor further added a touch of elegance and made people wonder how does she look that good, considering that just three month ago, she gave birth to the second child.
The movie is based on the book with the same name, written by Paula Hawkins. Even the red carpet was changed to match the idea of the movie, looking like a railway. The simple design contrasted beautifully with the intricate floral pattern found on her dress, simply being eye candy for everybody who was there to see her.
For this occasion, she wore a simple and delicate chignon of her blonde hair, together with an elegant side part. There were some loose tresses elegantly framing her face, and she also wore some adornments in a golden hue. As to the makeup, the London actress chose to have a perfect complexion and a simple smokey eyes style. To balance the look, she went for a nude lipstick.
At the event her co-star Luke Evans was also present. He plays the role of Scott Hipwell in the movie and he also looked sharp with an elegant navy suit. They both posed for the press and classily glided along the railroad-looking red carpet. It seems that fans are crazy about this on-screen couple and many are still enthusiastic about checking out the movie.
