Emilia Clarke and Jason Momoa, who play two beloved characters on Game of Thrones, Daenerys, and Khal Drago had a little reunion, and it is safe to say that they had a lot of fun! The actors were in attendance at a GoT event where they messed around, posing together on the Iron Throne in silly ways.
Clarke took to social media to post a pic that featured Momoa holding her up.
‘FYI…This is the closest you’ll ever get to me attempting ‘that lift’ from dirty dancing. Yes, my man is sitting. Yes, there’s no lake. And yes, I have no idea I’m NOT being raised above his head,’ she captioned the Instagram pic.
She went on to hilariously add: ‘(I’d like to take a moment to thank alcohol for giving me courage to attempt this. Ever. #gameofthrones @prideofgypsies #nooneputsdrogointhecorner #imhavingthetimeofmylife #fyi #thankgodwegotthatmanonathrone #mysunandstarsintheireyes.’
This week, Jason also spent some time with Game of Thrones’ showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss in Belfast, the location where the popular show is being shot.
Although we have no idea how that could be possible, some speculated that maybe his character would come back from the dead in season 8 for a very special guest appearance or…something.
Meanwhile, Emilia also opened up about having filmed her character’s very last scene on the show, the final season of which is still in the works.
‘It f–ked me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…,’ she told Vanity Fair.
HBO boss Casey Bloys also told The Hollywood Reporter that ‘This story, A Song of Fire and Ice, is done. There is no revival, reboot, spinoff talk.’
