The Into The Wild star, Emile Hirsch, isn’t pleased these days, as a crazed fan has been sending him and his family disturbing messages. According to a report from TMZ, Emile received bizarre direct messages from a female fan, including one stating she would kill his child.
TMZ reported that the actor was talking with a female fan over social media when suddenly their interaction became aggressive and fueled with hate, but not on his part.
When talking with the anonymous woman on Instagram, she unexpectedly started saying all kinds of horrible things including, the insinuation that she is a “dangerous (and) obsessed stalker with possible weapons.”
It's kinda a funny thing – how one person's opinion can influence another's – and a group can quickly form a consensus on something. That's why I turned the comments off here- especially releasing this music soon, because I want people to be able to listen to it for themselves, and not have it prejudged for them. These days everything is so consensus based opinions with all these different ways of categorizing things – in a way it's an efficient system to cut through the clutter, but at the same time art was never intended to be homogeneous, cookie cutter, one size fits all. It's the messy edges and bumpy roads that are often the most rewarding.
The woman implied she might decide to run over his child with her car in 15-20 years. She added, “I don’t forget, I can’t.” On IG, the woman goes by the handle, Annadelpanino, and she stated she is only a plane ride away from him.
Additionally, the woman in question acquired the phone number of the Hollywood actor’s father and began bothering him over the telephone. Evidently, it’s been a very strange week for Emile.
As you may know, the actor likes to keep out of the public’s eye. But, he’s always busy working on art, including the release of his band’s music which comes out next month.
The actor posted on his Instagram that he would be releasing a new record in June but had to disable the comments’ section due to the hatred and preconceived notions of some of his fans.
The actor cited “consensus opinions” as the reasoning for many people’s criticisms. In response, some fans have said it’s merely a way to avoid a harsh critique, criticisms he merely doesn’t want to hear.
