Erin is ready to become a mother! As fans of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ may already know, the show’s host, Erin Andrews underwent a relatively non-invasive surgery a year ago, and since then, she’s been cervical cancer free!
That being said, the woman believes it is time to welcome a bundle of joy to the family.
She is happily married to hockey player Jarret Stoll, 35 and a baby would make them even happier.
The 39-year-old stopped by Good Morning America today and opened up about her family plans.
‘I definitely want it [a baby]. Even though I am crazy on the sidelines and doing other things with ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ absolutely. I did not have to have a hysterectomy and so … I am fully capable of having a baby, but that’s because I went and got tested and because we were able to treat it early on, and that is all you need to tell the women in your life.’
Erin talked about having children when she was still fighting the illness in the summer of 2017 and revealed that she had frozen her eggs years prior to her diagnosis because everybody did it.
As for her cancer, she said that until the check-up, she felt completely fine so it was a shock to her.
‘When I went to get my annual exam, and they called me back and said something is wrong, everybody said … ‘There is nothing wrong with you. You are healthy. You go work out all the time.’ There are no symptoms, and that is what makes this something that should urge you to go to the doctor more.’
