The Fast and Furious alum, Dwayne Johnson – best known for his role in the action series and for having a giant heart – took to Instagram today to thank emergency first responders for taking his daughter to the hospital. According to a report from E! Online, Dwayne and his pregnant girlfriend, Lauren Hashian, had to send their 2-year-old, Jasmine, to the medical center following a “scary” incident.
On Tuesday, the father-of-two took to his social media platform – around 100 Instagram followers – and thanked everyone involved including the 911 Operator, LAFD first responders, and the UCLA medical team.
It was crucial for Dwayne to make sure his family got taken care of, and they did, because of the hard work of the medical professionals. Johnson, or The Rock, uploaded a video and wrote a caption as well saying that “things got a little hairy” over the weekend.
Dwayne explained something terrifying happened, and he and his pregnant girlfriend were up all night worrying. Thankfully, their daughter is alright though. The Fast and Furious star thanked everyone involved for being “caring, compassionate, and so responsive.”
The movie star finished off his statement with words of caution for future parents. When an emergency situation goes down, Dwayne recommends always to stay calm because children pick up on the energy given off by the parents.
Despite the harrowing incident, Dwayne didn’t reveal many details, but all is well now. As you may know, back in December, Dwayne announced he and his girlfriend were welcoming a big sister for Jasmine.
The Rock’s family is slowly expanding, as the Baywatch star also has a 16-year-old daughter named Simone Johnson, who served as the 2018 Golden Globes ambassador.
He had her with Dany Garcia. The last time we heard from The Rock was when he and Kevin Hary joked about running for the election in 2020. After “careful consideration,” the two stars admitted they were merely messing around.
