Dwayne Johnson Not Sure About Starring In The Next Installment Of ‘Fast And Furious’ – Slams Vin Diesel!

Dwayne Johnson opened up about his well-known feud with Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel in an interview for Rolling Stone magazine. The superstar explained what started their beef.
As fans remember, the rumors that there was bad blood between the two men started in August of 2016 after Dwayne took to social media to post a rant where he called male cast-mates ‘chicken sh*t’ and ‘candy a**es.’
He also slammed them for not really being ‘stand-up men and true professionals.’
Later on, fans noticed that Johnson and Diesel’s scenes in which their characters were interacting or appeared together could have very well been shot separately.
Now, Dwayne decided to confirm their alleged beef by admitting ‘That is correct. We weren’t in any scenes together.”
He went on to explain that their feud was sparked by a fight about the meaning of professionalism.
‘Vin and I had several discussions, including an important face-to-face one in my trailer. And what I realized is that we have a fundamental difference in philosophies on how to approach movie making and collaborating. It took me time, but I am grateful for that clarity. Whether we work together again or not.’
As for whether or not he will be part of the next movie of the franchise, Fast and Furious 9, which is set to be released in April of 2020, the star played coy.
However, we know that he is starring in a spin-off titled Hobbs and Shaw, alongside Jason Statham.
Apparently, that has also caused some drama between him and another Fast and Furious co-star – Tyrese Gibson.
‘I am not quite sure [about starring in Fast and Furious 9] Right now I am focusing on making the spin-off as good as it can be.’
‘But I wish him all the best, and I harbor no ill will there, just because of the clarity we have. Actually, you can erase that last part about ‘no ill will.’ We will just keep it with the clarity,’ Dwayne shaded Diesel.
