Two-time Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman is the latest actor to be accused of sexual harassment. At issue is the account of a writer who interned as a production assistant on the set for the 1985 television movie Death of a Salesman. The Golden-Globe winning movie starred Dustin Hoffman as William “Willy” Loman, John Malkovich as Biff Loman, and Stephen Lang as Harold “Happy” Loman.
Anna Graham Hunter was 17-years-old when she landed the five-week internship that at first appeared to be a dream. She journaled her experience as a production assistant and wrote letters to her sister documenting her experience. Many of her notes were references to Dustin Hoffman’s alleged sexual harassment and predatory behavior.
Hunter published her account in the Hollywood Reporter, the report prompted Dustin Hoffman, now 80-years-old to issue an apology.

Some of the comments attributed to Dustin Hoffman have left fans shocked and disappointed. The character of the man who starred in some of Hollywood’s funniest and entertaining movies is in stark contrast to Hunter’s notes and allegations.
According to Hunter, the sexual harassment began quickly and caused conflicting reactions in her. Though she was grateful for the opportunity and star struck by the men she was working in close proximity with, she couldn’t believe Dustin Hoffman’s behavior and language.

Troubling is that Hunter alleges the sexual harassment was not a one-time thing but something the high school student continued to deal with throughout her time interning.
According to Hunter, Hoffman frequently used inappropriate language around her, spoke about sex in front of her and repeatedly grabbed and groped her.
Dustin Hoffman was contacted by the Hollywood Reporter and released an apology. It reads as follows.
“I have the utmost respect for women and feel terrible that anything I might have done could have put her in an uncomfortable situation. I am sorry. It is not reflective of who I am.”
It is unclear at this point how extensive the allegations against Dustin Hoffman will reach and whether more people will come out with their own stories of harassment.
The story regarding Kevin Spacey broke over the weekend and multiple people have since come forward with disturbing allegations against the Oscar-winning actor.
What do you think about the allegations? Are you surprised that Dustin Hoffman has been named in the growing list of Hollywood predators?
