Drake is busy living his best life in the Turks and Caicos Islands and shading Nicki Minaj while at it.
The rapper recently shared a video where he is having fun in a luxury pool while debuting his massive chest tattoo.
In the clip, the father of one is listening and rapping along fellow Canadian rapper Smiley’s hot new track, “Buy. Or. Bye.”
Many fans are baffled by the fact that Drake decided to give a shout-out to Smiley and neglected to wish Nicki Minaj a happy birthday.
It has been confirmed in the past few days that Nicki and Drake stopped following each other on Instagram and their fans have a lot of questions.
One person said: “Since messing with Rihanna Drake swear he from the islands lol but this little fake accent be cite or whatever. He better talk bout his relation with Nicki, don’t @ me.”
Another commenter shared: “He was doing a British accent for fun; when he was in London, he filmed a video trynna talk like they do. Nicki Minaj does that in British accent thing for fun all the time literally everybody does.”
In related Drake news, according to Hollywood Life, the crooner is eager to spend his second Christmas with his son, Adonis, whom he shares with French artist Sophie Brussaux.
An insider stated: “Drake has already started Christmas shopping for gifts for his son Adonis; he is planning an epic holiday celebration. Drake feels like the holidays are all about family and so he is planning on spending quality time with his boy.”
The family friend went on to say: “Even though the boy is very young, Drake wants to make sure he feels the holiday spirit. Drake has so much to be thankful for this year, and he is looking forward to sharing everything with his young son over the holidays.”
In a recent interview, Dake opened up about the status of his relationship with Sophie by explaining: “I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, you know, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to like, not love his mother, or I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation, and we are both equally responsible.”
He added: “I want him to love his mother, and I have to project that energy.”
Drake is finally putting some of the old feuds behind.
