Donald Trump simply can not stop himself from plagiarizing Barack and Michelle Obama, despite the fact of being called out every time he does it. On Friday, minutes after Mr. Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the greatest country on this planet, the @POTUS Twitter account was turned over to him or members of his team. Either Trump has the most incompetent staff members to step foot in the White House, or they are conspiring to make him look bad.
Trump or someone changed the new profile background with a beautiful picture, which featured people at a rally waving American flags in front of the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C. At first glimpse, it seemed like a great patriotic photo that showed how a large group of people came out to support the new president.
However, the detectives on social media never sleep, they know their stuff very well, and they were brutal with Trump when they learned that the picture was taken during Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2009. Almost 2 million people gathered in the nation’s capitol during a freezing day to watch the first African-American being sworn in as the president of the United States.
The original Getty photo was cropped, and the colors were modified and slapped on the new POTUS account. After being bashed for copying Obama, the 2009 inauguration photo was removed and replaced with a snapshot of the American flag. It was later changed to a fuzzy picture of Trump in the Oval Office standing near a window with his hands in his pockets.
Why did Trump use Obama’s picture? Do not expect to get an answer to the question from Trump nor his team. A Twitter user said: “Trump ….never being original.” One commenter wrote: “these Trump just love to copy and plagiarize the former First Family.”
Another added: “Trump takes every moment to slam Obama, yet continues to copy him at every turn. Speech, Twitter background, cake…”
Trump, who also was caught stealing Obama’s cake concept, will still be using his own Twitter account during the next four years.
