The reality TV star was supposedly involved in a huge scandal amid his wife’s battle with cancer. Reports say that Dog the Bounty Hunter assaulted someone at a Colorado airport back on November 30.
TMZ reported that Dog ‘shoved’ a teen that asked him and wife Beth Chapman for a pic.
However, the celeb’s lawyer claims that in fact, the young male fan was the real aggressor, therefore denying Dog has done anything wrong.
Meanwhile, a Denver Police Department spokesperson confirmed for E! News that they have started an investigation regarding the alleged attack.
They mentioned that the ones involved are yet to be identified and therefore, no one has been arrested at this time.
Andrew Brettler, Dog’s attorney, told E! News that ‘There was no assault. A young man just approached Dog at the Denver Airport in a really hostile and aggressive way, clearly looking to start trouble. He then insulted Dog and Beth, hurled racial slurs at Dog, and also threatened to even ‘cut’ Beth if she could ‘get out of her wheelchair.’’
As fans know, at the time, Dog and Beth were coming back from L.A. where the woman had undergone emergency surgery during which the doctors, unfortunately, realized that her cancer had returned.
The lawyer went on to explain that during the airport incident, the couple ‘attempted to distance themselves from this individual’ before they asked for airport security to intervene.
Apparently, the surveillance cameras in the airport prove the teen male ‘was the aggressor and Dog did not assault him, as alleged. The Chapman’s are planning to press charges against the underage individual and his dad for harassment and disturbing the peace.’
