In anticipation of the release of Avengers: Infinity War, the cast members are on a few Empire magazine covers. That being said, there is someone who noticed something about one of the pictures, and she wasn’t too happy about it.
The actress who plays Scarlet Witch, Elizabeth Olsen, had a little problem with her character’s appearance on one of these covers, in particular, the fact that it does not look like her at all!
The same cover is also graced by Danai Gurira as Black Panther’s Okoye, Guardians of the Galaxy’s Drax, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
Yesterday, Olsen took to social media to share the said pic, and slam the publication for heavily photoshopping her face to the point that it does not resemble her at all anymore.
‘Does this look like me? #scarletwitch #infinitywar #avengers,’ she captioned the post.
But while this one photo was not ideal, the actress was impressed by yet another magazine shot – a Vanity Fair photo of her alongside Paul Rudd who plays Ant-Man, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk.
The photo was shared by none other than basketball star Shaquille O’Neal.
It is safe to say that he is super excited to watch the movie as he wrote that he ‘cannot wait’ for its release.
Olsen reposted it and captioned it: ‘Dreams do come true. You are a king @shaq!! #threepeat.’
Okay, so maybe her positive reaction to his other picture had nothing to do with the photo itself but with the fact that Shaq loves the film she’s in! What an honor!
Do you also think Empire went too far with the photoshop?
