Does Harvey Weinstein deserve a second chance? He seems to think so. The disgraced producer of more than 300 films spoke out amidst countless allegations of sexual assault, abuse, and rape and admitted he needed help. He casually tossed the words “second chance” at reporters as if it was something he deserved. While he might think that getting help will enable him to a second chance at Hollywood, his alleged victims might have something to say about that.
While Weinstein has not readily admitted the allegations are true or offered an apology to any of the women who’ve made statements against him; including allegations by Rose McGowan that he raped her, the comments seemed as close to a confession one might make without legal counsel present.
At the same time, the comments seemed as if Weinstein doesn’t grasp the full seriousness and legal repercussions of the allegations against him.
What’s being described by much of Hollywood’s most famous actresses goes far beyond sex addiction but is downright predatory behavior.
You may see the video where Harvey Weinstein said he needs help and speaks about second chances below.
The video surfaced shortly before Harvey Weinstein’s brother Bob spoke to the Hollywood Reporter and stated that Harvey Weinstein had no remorse for what he’d done.
Bob Weinstein also stated he’s ashamed that Harvey is his brother.

Bob Weinstein didn’t say that he was aware of the extent of allegations made against Harvey. He stated that he knew he was unfaithful but thought that it involved consensual relationships.
He described his brother as a predator and said that his behavior made him sick. He explained that he thought it was just cheating, lying, and treating people poorly. Due to those tensions, Bob Weiner said he had barely spoken to his brother in the past five years.
Though the two brothers comprised the Weinstein Company, Harvey Weinstein lived and worked in Los Angeles, California, while Bob Weinstein was established in New York.
Harvey Weinstein may be asking for second chances, but it’s doubtful many are going to give him one. What may be most disturbing of all is that Weinstein did not speak out to the alleged victims to offer an apology or express shame and remorse.
If Harvey’s own brother doubts he is remorseful, it is unlikely the public will show him any forgiveness before he even acknowledges the pain and hurt he caused.
