Doctors told Abby Lee Miller recently that she may never have the chance to walk again. Medical professionals diagnosed the dance instructor with lymphoma back in April of this year and she is still battling the illness.
A source who spoke with E! News claimed her prognosis isn’t looking good, but the reality star is “vowing to beat this and not only walk but dance again.”
Via the insider, Abby Lee has been very honest and open with her close friends and family and they are in “awe” of her resilience as well as her strength in the face of such a debilitating sickness.
Reportedly, her closest friends are visiting her all of the time. When Abby got out of prison in March, she fought with her illness, but that hasn’t slowed her down; she even wants to come back on TV.
According to the insider, thus far, there has been a lot of documentation through film and there will be an “upcoming televised cancer special.”
Previously, Abby underwent an emergency procedure to remove a supposed mass near her spine which would relieve some of her symptoms of paralysis.
Dr. Hooman Melamed said to the publication previously that the 51-year-old reality star had to get emergency surgery for an infection in her spine. And the very next day, medical professionals revealed she had non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Additionally, Abby shared photographs of her back where she had received approximately 52 staples. She has also endured five different treatments of chemotherapy.
Yesterday, the reality star got a chance to leave the hospital for a brief shopping trip. She stated that for a “lifelong shopper” like her, going thirteen months without a journey to the mall is “torture.” As it was previously reported, before her diagnosis, Abby had served time in prison for bankruptcy fraud.
