It looks like Mariah Carey had no choice but to postpone her busiest time of the year a bit more and focus on her health instead. We have learned that the singer canceled three more of her All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour dates after the medical specialists ordered her to.
The Christmas tour, which was scheduled to start on November 27 will now begin in New York on December 2, instead.
As fans may remember, Carey was already forced to cancel the first few dates ahead of the 27th due to suffering from a respiratory infection.
‘I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with loved ones; it is certainly nice to remember what we’re grateful for! Like most, I am thankful for my overall health… for which I need a bit more time to get right. Doctors have ordered a few extra days of rest before I can finally fly to New York and take the stage for my Christmas Tour. While this news disappoints me to share, I’m grateful to be on the mend and for the support from all of you – it means the world to me! See you from the stage soon darlings! ❤, Mariah,’ the star explained on her Instagram.
That being said, for those who bought tickets for her November 27, 28 and December 1 concerts, refunds will definitely be provided.
Meanwhile, her cute twins spent the holiday giving back to the less fortunate by joining their dad Nick Cannon while he was on a mission to feed the homeless!
