The trailer for Bravo’s upcoming thriller Dirty John starring Connie Britton and Eric Bana was released today and is going viral. Based on L.A. Times’ reporter Charles Goffard’s true-crime podcast and articles Dirty John tells the real-life story of John Meehan and his relationships with a number of women, most specifically Debra Newell, who was searching for love online. Britton portrays Newell as Bana plays Meehan. The trailer shows the dynamics between the two as well as sets the stage for the upcoming November 25, 2018, premiere.

For those unaware of the story, Meehan and Newell had a whirlwind romance that left little room for caution. Concerned for Debra Newell’s safety and John Meehan’s true intentions, Newell’s two daughters, Veronica and Terra, took it upon themselves to check into Meehan’s past.
