Many are telling Toya Wright that church is sacred and that she needs to put that camera down no matter how sweet the moments between her and her daughter are.
Recently, Toya took to social media, and she shared a cute video where Reginae Carter is getting sweet hugs and kisses from baby sister Reing Rushing.
The brief video was filmed at the New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
The beaming mother had this to say about church service: “Church with my girls…. as u can see the little one couldn’t keep still. Lol. I made a promise to myself that I’m going to try to make it to church when I’m in town on Sunday’s. I grew up in church, and I want the same for my girls. Thank you, Pastor Redmond, for staying on me. Great word today.”
Many of her supporters started debating if it was considered a sin to be recording while in the house of the Lord.
One person made this point: “Oh my goodness! All 3 of you look identical lol. Beautiful family. It isn’t a sin not according to the Bible it’s is a little disrespectful. Look, I think Toya and her baby are beautiful, but it gave the impression they weren’t listening to the preacher, and that’s the point of going to church. Plenty of time to record the cuteness of the Baby. That’s what people are getting at. Personally, I don’t care. Do you.”
Another commenter shared: “People can’t seem to leave their device down for the Lord smh technology took over us all. Everything doesn’t have to be broadcast this could’ve been done privately.”
This third supporter stated the following: “We all record where have you been at home in your bed spectating what you should be doing is worrying about if you are going to heaven or hell get your salvation right sweetie. Tooooooo damn pretty. Good Toya, that’s why you’re blessed now. Your latter days are higher than your former ones.”
Do you think people should stop recording themselves while they are in church and focus on the word and message being preached instead?
