Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans’ life is falling apart in a major way right now, and it looks like things could possibly get a lot worse. The 26-year-old has been acting strangely on Twitter the past few days, and some fans believe it is because MTV has fired her from the popular reality show, but they have yet to make an official announcement. After the network fired her husband David Eason, will Evans be the next member of the family in the unemployment line?
The reality star is probably coming to terms with the idea that she isn’t going to get custody of her son Jace, and she recently admitted to using marijuana while pregnant with her daughter, Tinsley.
But, the biggest issues facing Evans right now is that it is likely MTV will be firing her from Teen Mom 2. And maybe they already have.
Yesterday on Twitter Evans wrote that Ensley and her son Kaiser would no longer be appearing on the show. Then, when someone replied that hopefully she wouldn’t appear anymore either, she retweeted it.
She also retweeted a few similar messages. “Why just not cut Jenelle out all together and replace her with Barb! It would be so much more enjoyable to watch!!!” was one of her retweets.
Now that Eason will no longer be on the show, her kids won’t be making any more appearances, she refuses to film with her mother, Barbara, and Eason won’t let her talk to Nathan Griffith (Kaiser’s dad), the question is: who is there left for her to film with?
This could be proof that, by her own choice or not, Evans is finished with the reality show that made her famous.
As hardcore fans know, this all started a couple of weeks ago when Eason tweeted a picture of Evans posing with a firearm just hours after the Parkland, Florida school shooting that led to 17 people losing their lives.
When he received backlash from fans, Eason has refused to take the picture down and instead started getting into political arguments over gun control.
But, during those arguments, Eason randomly transitioned to homophobic and transphobic rants that led to MTV immediately firing him from the show with less than six weeks left to film for the current season.
Filming has also stopped for Evans, with no signs of it resuming anytime soon. According to some sources, the network already has enough footage of her to wrap for the current season, but there is no word yet if they plan on having her back next year.
Since this scandal begun, Evans and Eason have not made things any easier for themselves. They continue to post pictures of their kids playing with guns, which makes it appear that they have yet to learn their lesson. No matter what your political affiliation, causing problems on social media is usually not good for a reality TV career.
New episodes of Teen Mom 2 will return – with or without Jenelle Evans – to MTV later this year.
