Porsha Williams shocked her fans on September 19 when she announced that she was pregnant with her first child six years after having a miscarriage. Now reports are claiming that the reality star may have kept her network in the dark about her bundle of joy and has been ordered to do “pick up scenes.”
Radar Online has revelaed that fans will get to see Porsha and her new boyfriend, Dennis McKinley, romance unfold. However, the outlet reports that Porsha waited until she was in the safe zone to tell anyone that she was pregnant.
An insider told the publication: “Porsha teased her pregnancy the whole time she was filming. She would never give a straight answer about being pregnant, but it was clear that she wanted everyone to know. No one is mad at Porsha. She was afraid of having another miscarriage, so she didn’t want to announce on the show until she was in the ‘safe zone.'”
Since the show is pre-taped, the editors will be able to include the pick up scenes in her storyline.
This situation is different from Kenya Moore’s secret wedding due to the fact that Kenya hid the marriage from the show in addition to refusing to have her new husband appear on the series.
Viewers will get to meet Dennis and this may have secured a delivery special for Williams.
The ‘RHOA’ star told People Magazine: “When I found out I was pregnant, I was excited [but] I had mixed feelings. The other feeling that I had beside excitement was fear. I’ve had a miscarriage before in my past, which I’ve also been open about because I suffer with fibroids and had to have a myomectomy. So just the fear of, ‘Is the baby going to be okay? Will I make it full term?’ All those questions that you ask if you’ve had a miscarriage before.”
Luckily, both Porsha and baby are doing great. Do you think Porsha was in the wrong for keeping the news private for so long?
