Actress Denise Richards will be joining the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season, and it looks like she might already be the highest paid Housewife in series history. Multiple sources are claiming that the Wild Things actress will earn around $1 million for each year she is on the show, and she has a guarantee of four seasons.
Producers wanted to keep Richards’ salary a secret, but the numbers have gone public and the amount has angered her costars.
“The other ladies are pissed off about it,” an insider claimed.

However, a source close to Richards says that she didn’t get “anywhere near $4 million” for joining the cast.,
Viewers will get the chance to see Richards live her life as a single mom of three kids — Sam, 14, Lola, 13, and Eloise, 7 — but it isn’t clear if her ex-husband Charlie Sheen will make an appearance on the show.
It is no secret that there has been a lot of drama between Richards and Sheen over the past decade, with Sheen recently filing court documents to have his $20,000 a month child support lowered. He claims that Hollywood has “blacklisted” him, and he can no longer earn a significant income.
When he was the star of Two and A Half Men, Sheen earned nearly $2 million an episode, but those days are long behind him. However, insiders say that Richards isn’t having it, and will fight Sheen in court.
“Denise is going to bring some serious drama to Beverly Hills,” the insider insisted.
Richards says that she is excited to join the show that already stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, Dorit Kemsley, and Erika Girardi. The 47-year-old says that she is looking forward to spending time with the ladies, and she hopes to meet Boy George (Kemsley’s husband Paul is the 80’s pop star’s manager).

Rumors had flown for years that Richards was talking with producers to join RHOBH, but they could never get the timing right — until now. She is a fan of the Housewives franchise and watches all of the shows. She is also good friends with Rinna and Richards.
Producers were looking to shake up the dynamic of the show since last season didn’t have much conflict, and they believe Richards will be a great fit since she isn’t afraid of drama. Plus, she lives a glamorous, Hollywood life.
Denise Richards has already dabbled with reality TV. Her show Denise Richards: It’s Complicated ran for two seasons on E!.
Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will premiere later this year on Bravo.
