Demi Lovato is still recovering, five days after she had to be hospitalized for a supposed drug overdose. According to a source, Demi is in a Los Angeles hospital after the paramedics had to rush her out of her home and into the emergency room.
The news came on the 24th of July, Tuesday, that Demi had to go to the hospital, and TMZ was the first organization to discover her condition. And, according to a source who spoke with Us Weekly, one of her friends had Narcan on them in case something like that happened.
Two of her friends were at the house with her, when they went into her room and found that she was unconscious. They then called 911. An insider claimed that when the paramedics showed up, her friends were “hysterical.”
Thankfully, she was able to survive and is in the middle of treatment. According to a representative who spoke with Us Weekly, a lot of the information circulating right now is incorrect, “and the most important thing for Demi is to recover,” and not be a part of rumor and speculation.
As you may know, her ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, has been by her side nearly the entire time. Us Weekly reported that Wilmer was by her side for three days in a row.
Reportedly, Wilmer, who dated Demi for six years, is “devastated” after her relapse. This all comes after Demi released the song, “Sober,” that deals with her failure to stay sober.
An insider who sat down with us earlier said, “nobody knew that she was struggling like this again, so all of this is a pretty big surprise, and a downer. But, all of her friends and family are with her.”
For the most part, Demi’s fans have been nothing but gracious in their support. In March 2018, Lovato announced that she had celebrated six years of sobriety. But four months later, she admitted she had relapsed with the release of her latest song.
