Demi Lovato slammed back! But at whom? As fans probably know, the singer took to social media this week to shade someone.
The thing that drove her followers crazy, however, was the mysterious identity of the person the diss was directed at.
That being said, everyone went into overdrive trying to discover who it was.
‘Good luck on your blog,’ Demi simply tweeted without any more details.
After some time and dedication from the fans, it seems like they managed to find out who was at the other end of her shady tweet.
It turns out that the person who wronged her is Mike Bayer, the CEO of CAST Centers, a wellness and addiction treatment center that Lovato co-owns as well as a fellow sober buddy.
The two partners have reportedly known each other for a long time.
A few months ago, the two even made a joint appearance on Good Morning America to talk about mental health.
Bayer was also featured in Demi’s Simply Complicated documentary and even joined the performer on tour before.
They sound very close so what caused the drama? Twitter brought attention to a clip Bayer posted on his Instagram account in which he talked about the ‘biggest pet peeve’ he has when working with celebs.
‘I worked in the entertainment industry for many years being a life-coach for a lot of different stars and actors, and my biggest pet peeve is when they use excuses because they call themselves ‘artists.’ I am here today to explain that being an artist and being talented are two very different things. To me being an artist means living your authentic life. I believe everyone out there is an artist.’
He went on to explain that ‘I think if somebody uses it as an excuse to be late, or insincere, or rude, or unapologetic, that’s not being an artist. That’s being a jerk. And you shouldn’t stand for that.’
Neither Bayer nor Lovato has addressed the theory that they had a fallout.
