Demi Lovato recently did some serious Instagram flirting with Justice League star Henry Cavill, and the internet gave her a standing ovation for her pursuit of the hunky on-screen Superman. Did Lovato set a thirst trap for the British actor?
It all started when Cavill started following Lovato on the social media site, and a few days later she followed him back.
Then, in a bid to get his attention, she immediately posted a picture of herself in a sexy lace leotard with the caption “Big news coming soon.”
A few seconds later, she liked two of Cavill’s pictures of the 34-year-old in a jiu-jitsu studio because the two share a love of martial arts. After he started following her, he liked a photo of Lovato in her blue belt, and then commented, “This is awesome! Nice one, Miss Lovato.”
After the Sorry Not Sorry singer posted her sexy photo and quickly liked Cavill’s pics, the internet started losing its mind and began giving Lovato props for her gold standard flirting.
Fans knew exactly what she was doing, and they applauded her strategy for getting Cavill’s attention and going after what she wanted.
Cavill is supposedly in a relationship with Lucy Cork, but Lovato’s followers loved her attempt at “setting a thirst trap” for the actor.
Meanwhile, grabbing Cavill’s attention isn’t the only goal Lovato has set for herself. She is also dedicated to helping her fans as she tours across the country this year.
This past week, she revealed that she would be offering free mental health counseling for her fans while she is on the road for her upcoming Tell Me You Love Me tour. The 25-year-old is partnering with CAST Centers, a mental health and wellness program that she co-owns.
She offered similar services during her 2016 Future Now tour with Nick Jonas.
“It’s basically like a therapy session before the concerts, and we have speakers from all over, and we’re also helping out with different charities from around the country,” Lovato said.
Anyone who purchases a concert ticket will get to hear inspirational speakers and can participate in therapy sessions and wellness workshops.
Lovato says she wants to do this again because the last time she did, it was such an incredible experience. She says she has met people who go to CAST after experiencing the program on her tour and realizing they needed help making their lives better.
The former Disney star says that part of her life is about giving back, and she thinks it is important to continue to do so while she is on tour.
Demi Lovato added that it is her goal in life to inspire people, and it is important for her to use her voice for more than just singing.
